This Privacy Policy explains how Yuna (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects,
uses, processes, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile
application and related services (the “Service”).

1) Information We Collect
We collect information directly from you when you interact with the Service,
such as when you send messages, enable voice features, subscribe to a plan,
or contact support. Certain technical information is collected automatically
to ensure proper functionality, security, and performance.

Conversation Content.
Messages, prompts, and any text you voluntarily submit within the app.

Voice Data (Optional Feature).
If you enable voice features, audio input is processed to convert speech
to text and/or generate speech responses.

Device & App Identifiers.
Device type, operating system version, app version,
and app instance identifiers collected automatically.

Usage Data.
Screens viewed, session duration, feature usage,
diagnostics, crash logs, and performance data.

Purchases & Subscriptions.
Subscription status and transaction identifiers necessary
to validate purchases. Payments are processed by Apple.
We do not receive full payment card details.

Photo Content (Optional Feature).
If you choose to share a photo using the camera or photo library,
the image is temporarily processed to generate an AI response.
Images are not stored on our servers beyond the duration of the request.
2) How We Use Information
- Provide AI-generated responses requested by the user.
- Enable real-time conversational functionality.
- Generate voice output when enabled.
- Improve performance, reliability, and security.
- Detect abuse or fraudulent activity.
- Process subscriptions and provide customer support.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3) AI Processing & Third-Party Providers
To provide AI-powered chat and voice features, Yuna securely transmits
certain user-submitted content to trusted third-party AI service providers.
This processing is strictly necessary to deliver the core functionality of the Service.
Text Processing (AI Chat)
When you send a message, your submitted text and necessary conversation context
are securely transmitted to Google (Gemini AI models)
for the sole purpose of generating AI responses.
- Data sent: User-submitted message text and relevant conversation context.
- Purpose: Generate AI responses requested by the user.
- Training: We do not use user conversation data to train AI models.
Voice Generation (Text-to-Speech)
If voice output is enabled, AI-generated response text may be securely transmitted
to ElevenLabs to convert text into speech audio.
- Data sent: AI-generated response text.
- Purpose: Generate voice output requested by the user.
Photo Analysis (Image Input)
If you share a photo, the image is securely transmitted to
Google (Gemini AI models) to generate an AI response
based on the visual content.
- Data sent: The image you choose to share and any accompanying message text.
- Purpose: Generate an AI response to a user-submitted photo.
- Retention: Images are not stored on our servers. Google processes the image solely to generate the requested response and does not retain it beyond that request.
These third-party providers process data solely to provide services on our behalf
and are contractually required to implement the same or a higher level of privacy
and data protection safeguards as described in this Privacy Policy and required
under applicable data protection laws.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for advertising purposes.
We do not use conversation data for marketing, profiling, or behavioral advertising.
4) User Consent
By using Yuna’s AI chat, voice, and photo features, you expressly consent to the
secure transmission of your submitted messages, images, and related content
to our third-party AI providers (Google and ElevenLabs)
solely for the purpose of generating requested responses and voice output.
If you do not agree to this processing, you should discontinue use
of the AI chat, voice, and photo features.
5) Sharing of Information

Service Providers.
Hosting providers, analytics services, crash reporting tools,
and AI providers who are contractually obligated to use data
only to provide services on our behalf.

Legal Requirements.
If required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Business Transfers.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
6) Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the Service,
comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
7) Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards
designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission
or storage is 100% secure.
8) Your Rights & Choices
- Access or Deletion. You may request access to or deletion of certain data.
- Forget Me (Complete Data Deletion). You may permanently delete all data associated
with your account — including conversation history, usage records, and stored preferences —
directly within the app by tapping Forget Me in the Settings menu.
This action is immediate and irreversible.
- Analytics Controls. Certain analytics can be limited through device settings where available.
- Subscriptions. Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

9) International Transfers
Information may be processed in countries other than your residence.
We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.
10) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
